The Legislative Branch

The Legislative Branch of the United States Government is the bicameral part of Government that is responsible for creating and passing laws.  Congress will examine 1000's of bills each year, and determine whether they are good for the country or not.  Most of these bills do not come from the Legislative Branch however.  Many come from the Executive branch.  Congress is also responsible for the jobs of Representing the People, Educating the Public about issues, and to Resolve conflicts in Society.
