The Structure of the Federal Courts System
The Federal Courts System is broken down into 3 different categories of courts, in a 3 tiered system. The easiest way to remember this system is to remember the acronym, S.A.D. This stands for Supreme, Appeals, District, or the order from most to least power in the court system
