Constitutional Requirements For being President
To become President of the United States, there are a few requirements that you need to meet according to the Constitution of the USA.

- You must be at least 35 years old, however, often the President is older than that.
- You must be a natural born citizen. In other words, you must either have parents that are citizens, or you must be born on American soil.
- You must be a resident of the US for at least 14 years.
Other Requirements
There are some other, "unwritten rules" of becoming President.
- You must be Caucasian. Other than President Obama, all other presidents have been Caucasian.
- You must be a male. History has shown us that all previous presidents have been male.
- You probably will have to go to an Ivy League School. Most Presidents have.
- You must come from money. This is true of almost all of the previous Presidents.
- It would help you to be a Protestant. This is also a trend that is among previous Presidents. Not all, but many.
